The whimsical and fine botanical watercolors of Lisa Coddington, MA sprouted from favorite childhood outings visiting formal topiary garden and sifting through fall harvest color. Her parent’s stories about her birth place, Caracas Venezuela, and her father’s global slideshows cultivated her appreciation for the arts and travel. Recent trips to France and Mexico, and freelance work continue to inspire her to teach and share this beautiful art form. Lisa is a member of The American Society of Botanical Artists.

Beginning and experienced students alike benefit from her step by step method for drawing and watercolor. Lisa has taught her workshops at numerous locations including, Santa Fe Art Institute, Denver Botanical Gardens, The Adirondack Museum, Cazenovia College, and San Antonio Texas. Her art work has been exhibited at the Portland Oregon Home and Garden Show, galleries in South Carolina, Upstate New York and currently in Madison, Wisconsin. Her whimsical Pearsonalities® from Coddington Cottage® embrace the good memories while raising her three children, and are now licensed for commercial prints and products.

Lake Atitlan, Guatemala, and most especially the Botanical Gardens of renowned Hotel Atitlán, are a perfect setting to inspire and explore botanical art subjects for beginners as well as those who want to improve their art skills.  Click Here To View Lisa Coddington’s Website
